Welcome to Canine City!!
Welcome to Canine City. We're a intermediate/Advanced Canine Roleplay. The minimum words allowed are 150 for each post. You may post more than that but that is the word requirement. Here, feral canines roam free. We also allow wolf/fox/coyote hybrids here.
Our Plot!
Welcome to Canine City, or formally known as Ravis city. About 30 years ago, there was a major viral outbreak. The humans were evacuated , they left everything they knew behind. The governement denied that the city even existed. To keep anyone from looking and searching, they built a 300 story high wall around it, quarentining the city. No one gets in and no one gets out. But alas, there is life here. The canines are ruling. The humans will never be able to return to the city they once inhabited, being the virus has pretty much remained, even after the government has dropped a few antibiotics into the city, via helicopter. The canines had also become immune to every type of antibiotic. The government has now left the city be. Basically, according to them, it doesnt even exist anymore.. It was wiped off the map. But what's more, a train carrying toxic chemicals derailed and spilled its cargo. Now, the question remains.. Will you be strong enough to survive here in a brutal , new world? Or will you too, be wiped off the map?

pack meeting! ( all rebel pack members. ) « Thread Started on Nov 3, 2009, 11:01am »
curse didn't seem to be coming back. on one hand it was good he had obeyed her but on the other... well, he hadn't even apologised or tried to fight for her back. he had moved on. even though blood would be the very last to admit this she did feel rather... unwanted. of course, she refused to admit she had such emotion. she had built up her steel walls again around her heart, making sure the once dormant and annoying female part of her was once again no longer a part of her. she was back to being the blood everyone knew. so with a smirk upon her lips she strode to the windmill farm. the windmill farm was by far the biggest portion of her territory, and it was outside which was definately good. it meant that every member of her pack would be able to gather in one place and she could see every single one of them. the infertile females, and those one and two years old could be in one group together, and all the fertile breeding females in another. then the captains in another group, and the captains in training in another group.
blood was going to make sure every dog was in the right group. she had heard some fertile females were hiding in the non-fertile and one & two year old group which were the hunters. blood would not stand for that. she also wouldn't tolerate females getting pregnant by non-rebel males. she was going to examine every single dog and make sure her pack was as solid as it had been the last time she examined it. no one was going to get away with anything. if they didn't like it they could just leave the pack. of course they would never be able to come back, and blood would kill anyone that tried to come back. hell, she was definately tempted to rough up - maybe even severally injure - any dog that did leave the pack. it would be their own damn fault for breaking the rules. the rules were there for a god damn reason, and it was their job to follow them. this wasn't the mafia pack where anything goes. oh no. this was the rebel pack, and if they ever wanted to rule canine city the rules had to be adhered too.
blood sat down at the front of the windmill and then let out a series of loud barks. the entire pack would be here soon and she could start her examination. blood was postively excited. her own blood was rushing through her entire body like bullet trains. by the time blood was through the rebel pack would be the most organised and the most deadly pack around. they would be feared by everyone including the mafia. blood was so tempted to just laugh but she held it back. if those rule breakers thought they were safe they sure as hell weren't now. oh no. she was going to fix these rule breakers. they would soon regret ever going against her rules. she would also make sure they were punished by getting some of her captains to mount the breeding females that thought they could hide in the non-fertile female and one & two year old female hunting party. that would be so entertaining, especially if it was done infront of the entire pack so everyone would see why they shouldn't go against her rules. they would definately become a hell of a lot more wary of the rules by the time blood was through with them.

The clear call of Alpha sent shudders boomeranging up and down Jaggid's spine. Blood was the most vicious of killers, and she had no patience for fools. Her repuation was reputed as a hard cold killing machine, and she had eclipsed some of the fiercest dogs around. Jaggid was tough as steel, but steel could bend under the heat of a hot iron- mainly Blood.
But being as he was a captain in training, and he rather like life, this was one social gathering he couldn't afford to opt out of. He would endure the company of others and show Blood that he was too valuable an asset to kill. Or at least a dog not worth killing.
In the back of his mind, he wondered if Sol was going to show. Not that I care, he assured himself. He was just really curious as to why Fate had hurled his exact match in female form. In actuality he didn't like to think that there was another like him, but fact was fact, so he would just have to deal.
Running hard for a while, Jaggid rounded a thick tree trunk and squinted in the sudden sunlight that burned into his eyes. He could just make out Blood, in the old Windmill Farm. His gait slowed to a trot and he sat near the edges of the farm, near the back. If there was any hope of remaining part of the backdrop, it would be in staying quiet and staying motionless. Seating himself near the peeling white corral-styled fence, Jaggid was mortified to find that he was among the first arrivals, which translated to extra time for Blood to analyze him. He didn't like that. Not one bit. Still, he kept his mouth shut and his head down, hoping the eye of the Alpha would pass over him and he would be able to leave in peace.

((It's time to start all over... Shoot now I'm going to have that dumb Miley Cyrus song stuck in my head.))
Walking slowly through the grass, a lone canine appeared. Her tan-gold coat reflected the sun indicating her name, Sol. She sat upon the ground, staring up at a large building. It's exterior paint was peeling. The doors hung off their hinges as they blew gently in the wind. It was funny because in a way the fae felt exactly like the abandoned barn; forgotten, lonely and whithering away; even though she wasn't two yet. She pushed people away for the sake of not having anyone. She didn't do on purpose, it just came naturally and why fight something so natural.
The aussie probably could of sat there for hours, thinking; but a series of barks reached her harks. Listening carefully she realized it was her alphess, Blood. She hadn't actually meet her really just upon coming into the pack. Occasionally, passing each other by, but never talking. Her legs began to shake a bit in nervousness, but she shook her body quickly and swallowed her fear. I'll be fine.. There's nothing to worry about. She kept thinking that as she jogged around the barn towards the source of the barks.
The young female froze when she spotted the only other present member. I should of known. He is in the pack. Gosh I'm dumb, I'm dumb. Looking to the ground, she walked across the clearing a bit a ways away from Jaggid and Blood. Not wanting the doberman to notice her presence, she turned to her alpha. But that was a big mistake in itself. Her stare was deadly and sent shivers down her spine. Oh, please don't punish me. Not me. Anyone, but me. Her two-toned eyes returned to the soil as she thought, This is going to be a great meeting...

Fortunately for Electra, she wasn't to far away from where Blood was. Unfortunately, she would have been the first one there, and we can't have that, now can we? So that she wouldn't be first, Electra took a detour around a good chunk of the land. She figured she would be one of the last ones there, guess not. This lucky Bitch just so happened to be the third one. Not bad, but not great either.
Electra slid into the clearing and stood on the outside. Silently, she debated on going closer to her Alphess or staying as far away as possible. She weighed out the pros and cons. Her left paw hovered over the ground and she was about to take a step closer, but then she looked at Blood. That stare sent shivers down her spine, and she quickly pulled her paw back and took a seat at the edge of the clearing. That gaze was lethal, and if Electra wasn't careful she would receive wrath from not just her gaze but also her fangs.
Normally, Electra would test Blood's limits, since this is the first time they have ever come in contact with each other. But something told Electra to hold back, stop, yield, whatever. That something also told Electra that if she pushed Blood to far, she would be dead dog. Blood was the type that loved to fight, you could see it in her eyes, Electra was similar, but she wouldn't stand a chance. The size and weight differences were too great, and if they were to brawl, Electra would get her ass handed to her.
So today, Electra was going to be a good girl and play it cool. Maybe she could unleash her normal self later on when she felt it was okay.

Cameo heard other dogs. She perked her ears, increasing her stride. She spotted an old beat up farm type place. Scents wafted into her nose and she lifted her head. Slowing to a walk she walked in carefully, cautiously. Getting attacked was not on her list today.
As she got closer it was clear that this was some sort of meeting. Perfect. It was a great place to start out. And after hearing about this pack she was very interested in joining it-it seemed to fit her personality quite well. Plus, the other packs just didn't seem all that..well nice. Cameo had hopes that at least a good majority of dogs would be friendly here.
Swinging her head from side to side to look around, the female walked in sort of awkwardly, not exactly sure what to do. As she spotted other dogs she decided her best chance was to just go over near them, follow their lead. That wouldn't prove to be too hard of a task, for her whole life she pretty much just went with the flow. Sitting down, she waited, looking around with curiosity and a good amount of nerves.
Nothing is as it seems. We are all just parts of the puzzle, and we won't always fit together

Arrow I don't belong here, or anywhere
The Siberian Husky had been hunting when he heard Blood's call. It seemed that that was the only thing he really did these days; not only did it please Blood, it kept his mind off other matters. When the game was scarce, however, he had plenty of time to think. And thinking was the last thing he wanted to do, since Beat had left the pack. She was a loner now, although she did come to visit her old pack from time to time, while Blood wasn't around. How he missed her... She had been a friendly face to him when he first joined, and now that she was gone, he felt more alone than ever before. That wasn't, however, an excuse for him to ignore his pack leader's summons.
The majority of the rest of the pack was already there, not that Arrow cared about being late any more. He dropped the kill he had made just before Blood called in front of his pack leader, and walked off to join the rest of the Hunters. The rabbit's neck was broken, and a thin line of blood had trickled out of its mouth before it died, althoguh it was still a fine creature. It was a young male, and it hadn't noticed Arrow as he stalked it from behind. It had been one of his easiest kills in days. Not that he didn't enjoy a challenge; anything to keep his mind occupied and his personal thoguhts non-existent. Night-time was always the worst, as he had to sleep, and in his sleep his dreams would haunt him.

So this was the Rebels lands and more importantly this is where the had bitch herself lived. It wasn't bad and Nos was just itching to make an entrance, so when he hear her shrill barks he knew it was too call a meeting of her pack. This was the perfect time and place to introduce himself. He was once again fully submersed in the part of him that was morally Grey and he couldn't have bee happier. Even since meeting this female he found himself being pulled more and more down and enjoying the journey. He wanted and then didn't want it to stop; he was a mess. He was mentally drained and this wasn't his best idea. He would be surrounded by an entire pack that hated him and wanted his blood to spill, but he wasn't using his entire mind. He was focused on one and only thought. Find her.
So he traveled fairly easily along the land with his body in lunging position; mouth open and eyes dilated and rimmed with yellow. He acted like he wasn't even trespassing on another's lands, almost like he owned it. He couldn't wait to see her reaction. Even though his body was still heeling he was ready for round two. His hind-end was healed, but there were heavy scabs on his neck and blood was still matted in his dark fur, but it wasn't all his. Oh no, he smelled like her and he wore her blood like war paint. Her whole pack would know she bled before him.
He couldn't help but to smirk twisted at the image. He wanted to embarrass and humiliate her, take her down a notch. Some would say he was asking for death, and maybe he was. To escape this never ending spill of gray. Biting down on his tongue he approached where they were. There she sat high and mighty with the rest of the pack cowering around her. He rolled his eyes and sighed loudly to get their attention.
"Pathetic. So.Very. Pathetic."
He smirked and walked right up the middle. His eyes were locked with hers, a sadistic smirk cemented to his lips. He came close to her, almost nose to nose and smirked.

everything was going great. everyone was filing in as required. however then he appeared. the pain in her ass. the bane of her exsistance. that mafia lowlife. why did she have to let his ass go?! if she hadn't of let him go he wouldn't be at her pack meeting now. in what part of his mind did he find it logical to go to the devil's lair?! seriously, she didn't want her pack to know she had done what she had never done before - let a canine live. he unfortunately was covered in her blood and her scent. he had come off worse though. all blood had on her body was teeth marks and a bit of blood on her neck. other then that she was completely healthy where as the male was worse for wear. hell, she could kill him easily still with him in the state he was. still, the fact was she had let him live. she had never done that before and every dog in her pack would be wondering why. she would never be able to talk herself out of this one. she was doomed.
all she could do now was kill him where he stood. however there was one small problem with that. there was something VERY wrong inside her telling her she couldn't kill the swine. blood growled ferociously, her annoyance clear as they stood nose to nose with each other. the pack members might as well have not been there since all of blood's attention was on nos right then. god she wanted to kill this brute. she wanted to wipe that smug smirk right off his face permenantly. why couldn't he just leave her the hell alone?! surely there was a mafia bitch he could torment. why did he have to choose her?! then again, she had been the one to choose him to let out all her fustrations on. so technically it was her fault he was now apparently stalking her. still, it felt so much better to blood if she just blamed the entire thing on this fucked up male. after all, he was the one intruding on her life and not the other way around. although... she had been tempted to try and find him a few times. of course she'd never admit that.
"no. although now you have made your death far easier for me to enjoy. jaggid, slaughter this male and make it quick. oh, and you can have arrow's help if you really need it. think of it as a test of your loyalty. if you win you can both be my personal captains."
perfect. now she wouldn't have to kill him. those two captains could, and it could be seen as a loyalty test. god, she was brilliant. she would be rid of him forever too. perfect. deep down though blood knew nos would kick both of their asses, and really she was just buying time as well as trying to keep the spotlight off her. of course blood would never even admit this to herself let alone everyone else. blood had never met an equal before but... nos was definately her equal even though she refused to acknowledge it. she strutted past nos with a look of pride and smugness upon her face. after all the more everyone saw that blood thought she had won the more they'd think she had won, and therefore the likelyhood she'd actually win because everyone of her pack members would work harder.

Heads swiveled to stare at the newcomer, who was either very brave or very stupid. Personally Jaggid though it was the latter. But that was a first impression. As Nos and Blood had a staredown, Jaggid sized up the intruder. Blood was spattered hapazardly on his chest and neck. Some of it was Blood's. That was the fact that scared Jaggid, as his gaze snapped back to Blood. He hadn't noticed it at first. She was bloodied too. Had these to fought? And had the male won? It would make sense that the male had let Blood go, if Nos didn't look unhinged and dangerous.
Aw slag, Jaggid swore vehemently as Blood picked him to face the German Shepard. Sure, the position of personal captain was good, but to Jaggid, he didn't really care for his status. All he cared about was... he didn't really have a big goal or a purpose at the moment. Ignoring that, he just wanted to stay conscious.
Giving Blood a sideways look, full of suspicion and spite. The more the Doberman thought about it, the more this whole situation cast him as a pawn and and a shield for Blood. He couldn't restrain his emotions as they splayed across his face, but he could argue that his feelings were aimed at Nos, not Blood.
His stance lowered into a fighting position, and slowly his lips pulled back. Now his ears flattened against his skull, his eyes becoming flinty slits, though something gleamed that wasn't all together malicious. But his intentions were clear. He was ready to fight.

Jun had been lazing under a tree, lying in the sun. He'd blended into the scenery fairly well, the few fallen leaves looking like his siblings. His brilliant orange self was tired for now, after running about the territory, half hunting, half messing around. Nothing had seemed out of place, from what he'd been paying attention to. He rolled to his back, and had just begun to roll and flail about in the dead foliage when he heard the unmistakable barking that was his alphess summoning the pack. He sighed, not wanting to leave the warm sunlight. But something told him this wasn't a meeting to skimp out on. He hadn't been here long, but from what he knew, Blood certainly wasn't a tolerant dog. He knew when he arrived wouldn't matter much, it was always impossible for him to hide in a crowd, being orange and all.
He got to his paws and trotted swiftly to where the pack was gathering. He entered the little farm clearing, there were others there, all he knew to some extent, save for an odd smelling german shepard. Jun growled softly, not loud enough for Blood to hear of course, even though he was a complete ass sometimes, he knew well enough not to piss off Blood. The akita slowed and stalked his way to the opposite side of the clearing, a doberman whose name he couldn't recall was snarling, looking like he was about to eat the shepard alive. Fighting was fun, sure, until he missed the enemy and bit a friend.
Jun sank to a sit, half crouched to spring for any reason he could be given. His hazel glare never left the oddball's form.

Nos's lips curled over white ivories as he let her reaction set in. It was quite amusing to see the anger flash in her eyes and yes also the emotion of something else? This was of great interest to him and he would have liked to pus at it more, but there she went. Order given to kill him. Rolling his eyes he sighed loudly, he was growing tired of this and he really didn't want anymore blood to stain his pelt, but he could tell she was stubborn and was also buying herself time. He made a shrugging motion with his shoulders before swiveling on his rump to face the doberman named Jaggid.
This apparently was his executioner. He raised a brow as he looked at him. He was impresive, but Nos did not see his life ending here by his hand. Maybe a few scratches, but Nos would enflict more damage than he. He honestly didn't want to fight, but if the doberman made the move he would latch onto his throat and pull. Just the thought brought a smirk to his maw, but he surpressed the urge just to lash out. That wouldn't serve well for first impressions, no.
Nos stood and lowered his shoulders and squared away his back and front legs. Head was held low and eyes were wide, but the pupils were small and seemed to be drowning in the wicked yellow of his eyes. There was nothing there behind those eyes; no emotion. They almost seemed dead. He stared straight at the doberman before smiling at him.

Lost in her mind, Sol thought through how this meeting would play out. By the looks of the alpha, there would be some humiliating, torturing and maybe a fight here or there. It should definitely be a memorable gathering. Staring at her paws absently, she sighed and shook her long coat. She could feel Jaggid's presence somewhere to her right, but didn't dare to look up. Why am I such acting like a nervous yearling?.. Okay well technically I'm still a yearling, but whatever, I am Rebel, not a coward.
Straightening up, her different shaded eyes searching the growing crowd. Many new canines had joined their pack recently, but they seemed timid and not ready for what the Rebels were about. She flicked her gaze to Blood and realized a dog had approached her. His body was soaked in blood and matted terribly. The female sniffed the air detecting Blood's scent all over him. Her face turned to one of disbelief. She had heard of stories of how Blood showed no mercy and never let a dog live, but this dog was evidence that she had cracked. He had broke through her hard wall and was infiltrating her castle.
no. although now you have made your death far easier for me to enjoy. jaggid, slaughter this male and make it quick. oh, and you can have arrow's help if you really need it. think of it as a test of your loyalty. if you win you can both be my personal captains.
Let the half-time show begin. The aussie stood and watched silently, wanting badly to get in the fight. Her blue orb glanced to Jaggid as he gave the alphess a hateful glare. She could understand his anger, the border collie was using him and he had no choice, but to obey. Her claws dug into the earth when the doberman got into a crouch. Deep down, she was worried for her fellow pack mate, but if worse came to worse, she would always jump in to save his hide. And in this solution, she got a piece of the fight. It would work out well for everyone. Though in the back of her mind, she pondered, Why wouldn't Blood dispose of this canine herself...
Both males were now in the position to duke it out, but who would make the first move? Who was brave enough to put themselves out there? Who was dumb enough to be risky in this situation? Her hair along her spine was raised as she kept her stare on the shepherd. By the looks of the brute, he was lethal. He radiated power and cruelty. His aura reminded her of the alphess; evil to the core. Had the red fae finally met her match?

Ghost heard the call of his leader, that fae Blood, a while after every dog answered. It was that he was looking for recuites to join the Rebel pack, a job he was assinged to because of his gruff and indimitating appearance. He trotted as he heard the call, then broke into a sprint, his long and scarred legs skimming the ground. His paws burned against the asphalt, and they felt like they were to fall of by the time he reached the Windmill Farm. Already the was many of his pack members, and after murmurring greeting to his fellows, he addressed the alpha with respect in his voice obicous.
"My sincerest apologies for being tardy, ma'am, I am truly dreadfully sorry, my apologies."
Yes, Ghost was a slight coward when it came to his leader, it was one, no, the only dog he was terrified of, from her paws to her tail-tip, he was afraid. He crouched down, a sign of apology, and moved backwards, his tawny ears pressed against his golden-brown head. Ghost sat placidly, his tail pressed under him. Yes, Ghost was a coward. A scardy-cat.

The alpha's howl rang out, crystal clear across the air. And naturally Kora had been doing something. Nevertheless, she packed it up and headed towards the source. Brown paws melted into black legs as she trotted through the words. She'd been intent on reaching blood... really she had, but there'd been this squirrel racing above in the canopy, throwing acorns at her! Her mischief kicked in and soon enough she had a wild scheme in mind. sadly this only ended with her covered in dust, a very sore left side, and the squirrel's chittering laughter.
Remembering the call, she pulled her aching body up and raced off. Reaching the destination she was dismayed to see it already begun. Luckily there was a fellow tardy packmate arriving, and using the disturbance he caused, she slipped into her place. Carefully placing herself, she straightened her spine and did the best to look dignified, although her mischievous eyes and dust covered coat had a major impact.
