(I'll call him Tal for this one but we can talk about the name)

Tal is a sweet, young puppy. He has a remarkably sharp tongue and a wicked sense of humour. He isn't afraid to speak his mind in front of groups, and loves a good debate/fight. Sometimes he stutters, which frustrates him for he will always have something good to say and get too excited, then lose it in that twist of a tongue of his.
He is very much an independent dog in his later years, but that doesn't stop him from having a group of close friends. Because he is so independent, he feels that it is his right as an independent dog to help those who need a crutch to lean on; this is especially true for close friends of his. He would bleed himself to death if it meant helping someone he loved and cared about. However, sometimes he will give to the wrong person and will find that he gets hurt more than he helps the other person. Heaven forbid you hurt a friend of his, or even make a strike against his family! He doesn't let his size keep him back from spear heading the battle and seeing it through with a victory. A brave and noble warrior, he never lets a foe suffer in death, even if that means he has to commit a mercy killing.

Tal crouched low, letting his belly touch the soft grass. This was it. This was his time, this was his. He shuffled forward on his fore paws, using his back ones to propel him forward. The white ringed brute crawled across the expanse of field in but a few moments, his ears pricked and poised for sound. He paused, getting his bearings. It was dead ahead. The rabbit. It sat on its haunches, blissfully unaware, gnawing on grass. Tal chuckled in a little, puppy chuckle. Silly rabbit. He shuffled forward a bit. It was only a few meters away now. He could smell it. Drool trickled down his maw. The puppy lurched forward-
The rabbit kicked him, right in the chops, sending Tal reeling on his hinds, falling onto his back with a shocked yelp. By the time he had rolled over onto his front, the rabbit was hopping safely away. He shook his head, licking his chops and whining in complaint. Stupid rabbit. His ears pricked again, but this time... because of silence. There was nothing. Nothing at all. He was alone. He stood nervously, swinging his head from side to side, his eyes wide with horror.
“M-momma? Dad! Where-where are you?” He circled, panicked, “Okay, okay... don’t panic...Arrrg! what if they left me? Why did I leave!” He turned and blindly ran, panic swelling in his breast, muttering “Oh no oh no oh no!” the whole way.... for about a meter.
“Oh!” he said, skidding to a stop, “Oh.” He’d found the den. Tal puffed out his chest, strutting about as if nothing had happened. He was good. He was cool. He was large and in charge. He was... a total, complete, dork. He sighed, settling into the grass. “Idiot.” He muttered.

gentle and kind like his mother, [name] is quiet and reserved. He rarely ever gets into brawls and is very peaceful, and sweet. He loves his family to death and will do absolutely anything for them. He tries to keep calm and cool, but sometimes he can lose his temper. When he is angry he'll get really quiet and where this cloudy scowl on his thoughtful face, and he'll stomp when he walks. He is awfully cute, and smart/ He's not a genius, but since he is so observant, he notices things others don't, learns things others miss. He is very curious, full of questions, and simply loves to learn. He believes you should retain ever bit of information you hear that's valid. He's not one to gossip and spread rumors, and certainly not one to hold grudges. He is civil with everyone, and believes every dog and some sort of natural good feelings inside of them. He is shy with girls and often won't talk to him, but his adorable dorkiness makes him almost desirable. He always looks to the brighter side of things and is optimistic about his future.

terik's thoughtful brown eyes were suddenly blurred by bright, flashing lights. confused, he lifted his head, yawning from his night sleep. His mother lay next to him, keeping his right side warm, while the left was exposed to the sudden fall temperatures. It was chilly this morning. His siblings lay peacefully around the small den that confined them, their flanks rising and falling with the rhythmic patterns of deep sleep. He was the first one up, and he certainly could not fall back asleep, what with this annoying sunlight striking his eyes.

He got up from his once comfortable sleeping position and sat on his rump, small tail protruding onto his mothers left leg, which twitch as the soft fur touched his. He yawned once more, did a rejuvenating stretch, and poked his little head out of the den.

The grass was covered in white frost, though it wasn't snow. It was damp and hard. The geography had not yet frozen into a cold, hard mass of land, but it was getting there. His mother and father would whoop him if they knew he was leaving the den, but he wasn't going far. He took a few paces and breathed in the sweet, fall air, it's beautiful aroma enticing him to come out farther. He reached the nearby tree line and looked back at the dark den. He could see the shadowy shapes of his family, warm and sleeping. He always woke up early, but he never actually left. and knowing Terik, he wouldn't leave. But it was so conjested in that blasted den that he could not handle it today, it was just too annoying. He did not like small spaces, they really made him uncomfortable.

He relived himself and walked slowly back to the den, stopping at it's dark opening. There was some stirring inside. He tilted his head and walked into the overly warm area, seeing his siblings open their eyes slowly. The day was beginning for the Griffith family. He smiled and waited for the rest to awake.
